Social Media went agog as the two major candidates of the 2019 election (PDP and APC) had their pulpits empty in the presidential debate. While President Buhari stated that he could not make it due to his busy schedule, Atiku Abubakar stated that you could not shave one’s hair in his absence, and as such opted out of the debate.
Atiku has hence challenged the Presidency to fix another date for the debate where he and the president would slug it out. The presidency is yet to respond.
That notwithstanding, the Pro-business candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has refused to give up, since he needs a debate with the president, to make his policies and plans known.
