Famous Nigerian actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi, who was believed to be pregnant months ago, has confirmed she recently lost the baby.

The actress made the disclosure on Sunday during an interview with popular TV host and on-air personality Ebuka Uchendu’s ‘Rubbin Minds’ programme on Channels Television.

Narrating the bitter experience, Toyin expressed her desire to still have one or two more kids.

“When the time is right, the pregnancy will stay.

I plan to have more kids. I was actually pregnant, but I lost it. I cried because I wanted to have one or two more kids and am done.”

Also speaking on how she was body shamed after getting bloated from the pregnancy loss, she stated: “Things happened and I was bloated, and many body-shamed me but ‘am used to it as an actress. Everybody was just like, “you are too fat, look at your husband, he is young. Look at you, you are fat,” but they don’t understand.”

Speaking on how she handled the negative comments from people online, Toyin said: “I am used to it as an actress, you have to, or else, you will jump into depression.”
