Nigeria Immigration Service Declares State of Emergency on Passport Issues

In a bid to address the challenges faced by Nigerians in obtaining international passports, the Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Caroline Adepoju, has declared a state of emergency on passport issues in the country.

During her working visit to Lagos, Adepoju emphasized the urgent need to tackle the existing problems in passport issuance. She expressed her concern for the difficulties faced by Nigerians and announced a comprehensive plan of action to effectively resolve these issues.
