Nicki Minaj just told fans that she’s in a relationship with Eminem.

On Thursday, May 24, 2018, the “Super Bass” rapper took to Instagram to promote her latest track, “Big Bank,” a collaboration with 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and YG. In her verse, Minaj raps, “Uh oh / Back again / Back to back Maybach, stack the M’s / Told ’em I met Slim Shady, bag the M / Once he go black, he’ll be back again.” However, in Minaj’s Instagram caption, she wrote, “Told ’em I met Slim Shady. Bagged a EM!!!,” which has led to some followers wondering if she’s dating the rap icon. In fact, one fan asked Minaj just that and got a response (via E! News). Replying in the comments, Minaj wrote back, “Yes.”

However, it’s unclear if Minaj was serious in her answer. At the time of this writing, neither she nor Eminem have confirmed their alleged relationship.

According to the Daily Mail, Minaj and Eminem have known each other for some time. They’d worked together in 2010 on her song “Roman’s Revenge.” “I remember, every time I wrote a verse to Roman’s Revenge and sent it to Eminem, he would send a new verse back,” she told XXL magazine at the time. “It was competitive, it was fun.”

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Minaj was last romantically linked to artist Nas. However, they later broke up in December 2017. Prior to that relationship, Minaj had dated Meek Mill.
