Happy Sunday A’s fans!

Today’s match-up features a pair of crafty, enigmatic right-handers – Kendall Graveman and Jeremy Hellickson. Both have shown flashes of brilliance; both are currently mired in struggle.

Hellickson has never quite lived up to the early promise he showed in Tampa Bay and Graveman has struggled to live up to the expectations that attach to a team’s opening day starter. But both can be excellent on their day, adding to today’s intrigue.

This game is obviously meaningful for the Orioles as they cling to their playoff dreams. Baltimore currently sits just a game and a half back of the second Wild Card spot (although it’s worth noting there are currently five teams in their way). But it’s meaningful for the A’s too, especially the Matt Olson’s and Boog Powell’s of the world who continue to make their case as to why they should factor into next season’s plans.

First pitch is at 1:05 and line-ups are posted below. Let’s go A’s!
