Game Thread #103: Oakland Athletics vs. Minnesota Twins

Happy Friday and welcome to another exciting night of Athletics baseball. Oh, fine, I’ll be honest; it was a complete crapfest this week, as the A’s saw blown save after blown save, capped by yesterday’s walk-off grand slam loss. On the bright side, it is unlikely that any game I could recap tonight could be worse than games already played this week, so there’s that. Although, I supposed the A’s could turn around and say, “baseballgirl, hold my beer.”

Tonight will start Daniel Gossett, who has been pretty great in his last two starts, at least, against Jamie Garcia, making his Twins’ debut after a trade from the Braves.
