Nigeria news : CAN express mourns Emir of Zazzau, Shehu Idris

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kaduna State chapter, has expressed shock on the demise of the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris.

CAN Kaduna State said it commiserates with the family, the people of the Zauzau Emirate and the state as a whole over the death of Shehu Idris.

In a statement issued by Rev. John Joseph Hayab, CAN state chairman, said, “The late Emir left us at a very important time of rebuilding and restoring peace, love and friendship in our dear state, a role he has been playing as Emir over many years.”

CAN, he said, is praying God to comfort his family, the Emirate and Kaduna state as a whole.
