In response to the increasing demand for smartphones compatible with 5G millimeter-wave ultra-high-speed communications, Kyocera has announced the commencement of mass production for products certified by IC manufacturers.
This milestone achievement has been made possible through Kyocera’s collaboration with Osaka University, where they have developed outstanding photolithography and plasma CVM technology. These advancements have allowed Kyocera to achieve low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and stable temperature characteristics in their products.
The certification of Kyocera’s products by IC manufacturers means that they meet the necessary standards for compatibility with 5G millimeter-wave ultra-high-speed communications. This is a significant development as the demand for 5G-compatible smartphones continues to rise.
