Evicted Big Brother Naija All Stars Housemate Urges Show Organizers to Rethink Eviction Process

In a surprising turn of events, Uriel Oputa, the latest housemate to be evicted from Big Brother Naija All Stars, has called for a major change in the show’s eviction system. The reality star, who was voted out on Sunday despite not receiving the lowest number of fans’ votes, believes that the current jury system is flawed and needs to be scrapped.

Uriel expressed her disappointment during an interview with Cool FM Nigeria in Lagos. She explained that while she didn’t expect to win the coveted N120 million grand prize, she had hoped to stay in the house for a longer period of time.

“I’m not happy about it [my eviction] obviously because I didn’t have the lowest [fans’] votes,” Uriel said. “I just feel like I was robbed of an opportunity that I shouldn’t have been robbed of. I was giving content and amazing highlights. I just felt like my eviction was just too soon. I wanted to stay longer.”

The eviction process on Big Brother Naija All Stars involves a jury system, where three jurors ultimately decide which housemate gets evicted. This means that even if a housemate has a significant number of fans’ votes, they can still be eliminated if the jury votes against them. Uriel believes that this system is unfair and should be abolished.

“I think the jury thing left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth,” she stated. “I think they [organizers] should scrap it. And if they definitely scrap it, they better put me back in there.”

Uriel’s plea for change has sparked a debate among fans of the show. Some agree with her and believe that the eviction process should solely rely on fans’ votes, while others argue that the jury system adds an element of unpredictability and drama to the show.

As the conversation continues, it remains to be seen whether the show organizers will take Uriel’s plea into consideration and make changes to the eviction system. For now, fans eagerly await the next episode of Big Brother Naija All Stars to see how the remaining housemates fare and if any adjustments will be made to the show’s format.
