In a heart-wrenching development, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has revealed that the beloved Nollywood actor, John Okafor, widely known as Mr Ibu, has recently undergone a leg amputation and is now barely able to speak. Dr Emeka Rollas, the National President of AGN, expressed deep concern about the deteriorating health of Mr Ibu, as well as another esteemed actor, Amaechi Muonagor, who has been battling health issues and has been hospitalized at the Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, Anambra State, for over two months.
Providing an update to the press, Dr Rollas shared, “We are closely monitoring Ibu’s case and are deeply concerned about the state of health of Amaechi Muonagor. Mr Ibu has recently undergone another leg amputation and can hardly talk. Amaechi Muonagor, on the other hand, is a shadow of his former self, with completely paralyzed legs.”
