The situation surrounding the King Mitchy apology has taken a strange turn, at least from the way it looks now. Nigerian activist and online personality VeryDarkMan has publicly shared concerns about his safety after socialite King Mitchy issued a message apologizing to him.

At first glance, the apology seemed simple enough. A public figure admitting she may have misunderstood someone and choosing to say sorry. That usually helps calm things down. But in this case, it appears to have done the opposite.

Instead of accepting the apology and moving on, VeryDarkMan suggested that the situation might not be as straightforward as it looks. In fact, he believes the apology could be something else entirely. According to him, it may be what he described as a “decoy.”

And honestly, that claim has left many people online trying to figure out what exactly is going on.

The Apology That Sparked New Questions

Earlier, King Mitchy publicly addressed VeryDarkMan, acknowledging his activism and his efforts to speak about issues affecting Nigeria. In her message, she admitted that she may have reacted too strongly toward him in the past.

She spoke in a somewhat reflective tone, saying she now understands his intentions better. She also pointed out that people who want change in Nigeria need support rather than constant criticism.

In part of her message, she said something along the lines of seeing the bigger picture. That perhaps the fight for a better country requires more cooperation than conflict.

To some people watching the exchange online, the apology looked like a positive step. Social media disagreements rarely end with someone openly admitting fault. So naturally, a few observers thought the situation might finally settle down.

But that’s not how VeryDarkMan interpreted it.

Why VeryDarkMan Thinks the Apology Is a “Decoy”

Not long after the apology circulated online, VeryDarkMan shared his reaction on his Instagram page. Instead of welcoming the message, he suggested that the apology might have deeper motives behind it.

According to him, the timing felt unusual.

He claimed that during the earlier dispute, another public figure, Lege Miami, had posted a video criticizing him. However, that video was later removed. The explanation given, he said, was that certain calls had come from influential people asking for it to be deleted.

That detail seems to have made him suspicious.

VeryDarkMan said the apology from King Mitchy might actually be connected to those earlier events. From his perspective, it feels less like a spontaneous apology and more like part of something planned behind the scenes.

Of course, that’s his interpretation. At this stage, there is no clear evidence showing that the apology was arranged for any hidden purpose. Still, his comments show how uneasy he currently feels about the situation.

Mention of Influential Figures

The conversation became even more serious when VeryDarkMan mentioned the name of Seyi Tinubu during his online statement.

He suggested that if anything harmful happens to him, certain individuals—including King Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu—should be held responsible.

That is a strong claim, and one that naturally caught the attention of many people online. Statements like that tend to spread quickly, especially on Nigerian social media where discussions about politics and influence can get intense very fast.

From his point of view, the apology might be an attempt to calm public attention before something else happens. He described it as a move meant to “clear the air.”

Again, whether that suspicion is justified is something no one can confirm right now.

Claims About Threats and Intimidation

Another part of VeryDarkMan’s message focused on what he described as attempts to intimidate him during the earlier disagreement.

He said messages had been sent through people who know him personally. These messages, according to him, were later passed along to him as warnings.

He seemed frustrated that when public responses to the dispute were posted online, those alleged messages were never mentioned.

In his words, the silence around that part of the story is one reason he still feels uneasy. He believes an important detail of the conflict has been ignored or avoided.

For someone already suspicious of what’s happening behind the scenes, that silence may feel meaningful.

Fear of Being Framed

Perhaps the most alarming part of his statement was his claim that he fears being framed for crimes he did not commit.

VeryDarkMan warned that if anyone hears accusations about drugs, illegal firearms, fraud, or money laundering connected to him, they should question it. According to him, such claims could be part of a setup.

He even suggested that items could be planted in his car or belongings to create evidence against him.

It’s a serious concern to raise publicly. And honestly, it shows just how worried he says he is about his safety.

Still, it’s important to remember that these statements represent his personal fears and suspicions. There has been no official confirmation supporting the idea that anyone is planning to frame him or harm him.

Social Media Reactions Continue to Grow

As expected, the entire situation has sparked intense conversation online. Some supporters believe VeryDarkMan’s concerns should be taken seriously, especially given his outspoken activism.

Others think the situation may be a misunderstanding that has grown larger through social media speculation.

That’s often the nature of online conflicts. One message leads to another, and suddenly a disagreement between public figures turns into a nationwide discussion.

For now, the King Mitchy apology remains at the center of the story. What was meant to calm tensions has instead created new questions, suspicions, and debates.

Whether those suspicions prove accurate or not remains unclear. But one thing is certain: the conversation around this issue is far from over, and many people will be watching closely to see what happens next.
