The University of Lagos,  Akoka  has debunked the claim making round that the institution is set to commerce the 2017/2018 online screening from Wednesday, August 9th to Wednesday, August 31st 2017.

In a circular sent by the management, the institution described the text message sent via social media as scam and called on the public to visit the school’s official website for authentic information.

” It has come to the notice of the University authorities that a text message is being circulated which advertised that the on-line registration for the 2017/2018 Screening Exercise for admission will commence from Wednesday, August 9th to Wednesday, August 31st 2017.

This is a scam. The message did not emanate from the University of Lagos.

Members of the public are advised to ignore this message as the University of Lagos has not commenced the 2017/2018 Admission Exercise.

The University website is the only authentic source of information on admissions.”
