It said the decision by the senators concerning the recent move is anti-people and will cost most of the senators, who voted against the reform, their seats come to the 2023 general election.

Senators, the majority of the All Progressive Congress (APC), had voted against the transmission of election results electronically last week, against senators from the opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party(PDP) who voted in favor of the reform.

Hon Adekunle Rufia Omeaje, National Chairman of AA, made this assertion in Benin City, the Edo State capital, during the weekend while receiving new members into the party.

He said Senators who voted against the reform did so because of greed and fear of failure and that with what they have done, most of them will not make it back to the National Assembly.

According to him, “If our children have been writing exams like JAMB, WASSCE, and NECO, and the results were transmitted electronically, why can’t our election results be transmitted electronically? wowplus.net

He urged Nigerians to rally around and resist what he described as a satanic decision by the Nigerian senate.
