Transfer: Obafemi joins Burnley

Burnley has completed another signing in the ongoing winter transfer window.

They have now signed Michael Obafemi, according to Mike McGrath of the Daily Telegraph.

According to him, the player is joining from Swansea and has now been registered with the EFL.

Obafemi joined the Swans from Southampton in 2021 and scored 15 goals in 52 appearances for the Welsh outfit.

He will now join a Burnley side who were relegated from the Premier League last season but are now sitting top of the Championship table.

The Clarets are on course for an immediate return to the Premier League.
