Remo Stars duo, Sikiru Alimi and Sodiq Ismail have been nominated for the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month award for September/October.

Alimi is currently the joint-top scorer in the NPFL with five goals.

Ismail currently tops the assists chart with four goals.

Bayelsa United forward, Robert Mizo is also in contention for the award.

Mizo has netted five times for the Prosperity Boys this season.

Sporting Lagos forward, Jonathan Alukwu and Rangers’ Kazeem Ogunleye are also nominated for the award.

Sunshine Stars captain Michael Olusesi is on the list.
