Nigeria news : FCTA confirms one new case as Nigeria’s COVID-19 toll hits 665

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has confirmed one new case of COVID-19.

The FCTA in a post shared on its Twitter handle confirmed that the total number of active cases in the Nigeria’s seat of power stands at 89.

The tweet reads: ”One NEW CASE IN THE FCT.

“Summary of #COVID19FCT as at 11:10pm, 20th April, 2020.

”Total number of confirmed cases: 89

“Total number of active cases: 51,Total discharged: 35, Deaths recorded: 3

“Residents are urged to continue to #StayHome and #StaySafe.”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Monday night confirmed 38 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
