Warner Bros. launched “Bachelor Happy Hour” with former Bachelorettes Rachel Lindsay and Ali Fedotowsky in 2019. Less than one year later, the season 6 star announced she would no longer recap the ABC series on the podcast.
“When I decided to do the Bachelor podcast, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m a super fan, I’m going to love this! We’re going to be set, we’re going to talk to all the guests.’ And I basically did not realize the time commitment that it was going to take to do it,” Ali exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2020. “Some people are like, ‘Oh my gosh, did you and Rachel have a falling out?’ Absolutely not. Like, Rachel and I are great. There are no problems with me and Rachel. Honestly, it was a time thing.”
Season 14 Bachelorette Becca Kufrin subsequently stepped in to host with Rachel. While the two women quickly became BFFs, things got emotional on the show in June 2020 when Becca’s then-fiancé, Garrett Yrigoyen, expressed support for police amid the Black Lives Matter movement. Several months later, the former couple confirmed their split, and Becca and Rachel continued to support each other on and off the mic.

Things got real again in February 2021 when Rachel’s interview with Chris Harrison made waves after the former franchise host defended Rachael Kirkconnell’s past attendance at an antebellum-themed party as Matt James’ season 25 was airing. As Rachel navigated the backlash from viewers, she opted to stop covering the show and ended her role as cohost in April 2021.
“I’m gonna make this short and sweet. All good things must come to an end. And I feel like certain things run their course, and for me, I have run my course,” the season 13 Bachelorette said on the show at the time. “I’ve been struggling. That’s no secret, and it’s been really, really hard for me lately and a lot of the things that we’ve talked about on this podcast are also about taking care of yourself and finding your peace and protecting, protecting that peace and protecting your mental health.”
Becca went on to cover seasons 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette and season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise with rotating guest hosts, including Tia Booth and Serena Pitt. Wondery subsequently tapped Michelle Young to be her permanent cohost in March 2022.

Ali Fedotowsky Leaves ‘Bachelor Happy Hour’
The OG “Bachelor Happy Hour” host opened up exclusively to Us about stepping back from the show.
“I thought it was going to be, like, ‘Oh! I get to sit and chat for an hour every week, this is going to be so cool and fun!’ It just was not that. And it was, like, with my kids, I honestly found … Rachel had so much going on in her life too, and with our two schedules, we were just never lining up. And it was becoming a lot,” Ali told Us in January 2020. “One day, when I was running out the door to try and get there, literally my daughter was crying. She was like, ‘Mommy, stay home with me. I miss seeing you.’ And I just realized, between doing the podcast, and working with Home & Family, and my website, and my photo shoots, and everything else I’m doing, and when I saw Molly like that, I was like … ‘Something’s got to give.’ And I was like, ‘I need to put my family first, and as fun as this is, I can’t take this on right now.

Rachel Lindsay Leaves ‘Bachelor Happy Hour’
“I just feel like I’ve come to the end of doing the podcast. … I’m definitely closing the door but I’m not locking it and throwing away the key. It’s just I have to, for me, walk away,” she said at the time. “I just feel like this is at a place where I can walk away and I know it’s all good and I know it’s gonna be great,” she said before assuring fans that this isn’t the last they’ll see of her. “I’m sure I’ll pop in from time to time to say hello.”

Tayshia Adams Leaves ‘Click Bait’
The season 16 Bachelorette temporally left “Click Bait” to work with Becca on “Bachelor Happy Hour” during the 2021 season of The Bachelorette. By early 2022, however, Tayshia was missing from all official Bachelor podcasts for weeks. She broke her silence on a January 31, 2022, episode after Joe confirmed she wouldn’t be on the show anymore the week prior.
“My ‘Click Bait’ fam, guess who?! It’s me, Tayshia. Dang it, I really miss saying that,” she said at the time. “I am just stopping by to say hi and to really express my love and gratitude to every single one of you before I say goodbye for a little while. I was really anticipating and looking forward to coming back to ‘Click Bait,’ but it just seems to be that time for me to work on myself and the many things I have coming down the pipeline.”
The news came three months after Tayshia and fiancé Zac Clark split and after she was noticeably missing from cohosting Michelle’s After the Final Rose with Kaitlyn Bristowe, citing a COVID-19 scare at the time.

Tia Booth Joins ‘Click Bait’
The Bachelor in Paradise alum became a permanent fixture on “Click Bait” in January 2022 following Tayshia’s exit.
“We have Tia on the podcast now and she brings a new perspective. … It’s just about enjoying the people you work with and luckily I’m able to with this podcast, so we just have a lot of fun. It’s easy,” Joe told Us in March 2022. “[Tayshia and I speak] every so often, but, I mean, we live in different cities. Nothing but respect and I like Tayshia, and consider her a friend.”

… And ‘Talking It Out’ Ends
The two men announced on November 24 that their podcast was ending.
“Today is officially the last episode,” Bryan said. “We just want to thank all of our listeners for all the kind words that we’ve gotten — all the comments, all the messages — during our amazing run. We’ve had the best time doing this podcast and I know that each of us has grown as an individual because of it. … Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
Mike added that he echoes his cohost’s statements, adding that it’s “hard to hear” Bryan’s sign off because it makes it “true.
