Man Utd agree Lindelof deal

Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Victor Lindelof

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign central defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.

Sky Sports News HQ understands United will pay the Portuguese club £30.7m to sign the Sweden international.

Lindelof is yet to agree personal terms, with his proposed move to Old Trafford also subject to a medical and international clearance.

A United statement read: “Manchester United is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Victor Lindelof, subject to a medical examination, international clearance and personal terms.

“A further announcement will be made once the transfer is complete.”
