Getty ImagesCongratulations are in order for Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President of the United States Bill Clinton and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
On Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, the Clinton Foundation board member took to Twitter to announce that she and her husband, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, are expecting their third child together.
“Marc and I have loved watching Charlotte be such a wonderful big sister and we’re excited to watch Aidan become a big brother!” Clinton wrote to her 2.43 million followers. “We cannot wait to meet our newest addition later this summer.” At the time of this writing, the rest of the Clinton family have yet to publicly comment on the happy news. However, Clinton later confirmed to a Twitter user that her famous parents are “thrilled” about becoming grandparents for a third time.
According to The New York Times, Clinton, 38, and Mezvinsky, 41, tied the knot in July 2010. The married pair later welcomed daughter Charlotte in September 2014 and son Aidan in June 2016 (via USA Today).
A number of other famous faces have shared exciting baby announcements of their own this month. As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kim Kardashian recently revealed that the Kardashian-Jenner clan is about to get a little bit bigger. During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live on Monday, Jan. 14, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star confirmed that she and husband Kanye West will be welcoming their fourth child together, a baby boy, via surrogate “sometime soon.”
Meanwhile, Extra host Mario Lopez revealed on Friday, Jan. 11 that he and his wife, actress Courtney Lopez (née Mazza), are expecting their third child together. “We are adding to the team! We’re gonna be a party of five,” the former Saved By the Bell star said in a social media video at the time. “We don’t know what we’re having … if it’s gonna be a boy or a girl. It remains to be seen. So blessed.” The married pair are already mom and dad to 8-year-old daughter Gia and 5-year-old son Dominic.
