Britney Spears’ Ex Sam Asghari Left Empty-Handed in Divorce Settlement

After a whirlwind romance and a short-lived marriage, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have officially called it quits. While their split has been the subject of much speculation, one thing is clear: Asghari did not receive a dime in their divorce settlement.

Despite being together for over five years, the couple was only married for a mere 14 months. According to sources close to the couple, the reason Asghari walked away with nothing is due to the terms of their prenuptial agreement. If the marriage had lasted just ten more months, Asghari would have been entitled to a hefty sum of at least $1 million. The insider revealed to Us Weekly that the prenup stipulated that Asghari would receive “$1 million per year every two years,” with a maximum payout of $10 million after 15 years of marriage.

In the aftermath of their split, there were reports that Asghari was attempting to challenge the terms of the prenup in an effort to secure a portion of Spears’ fortune. However, his representative was quick to shut down these rumors. Speaking to Page Six, the spokesperson stated, “There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos. However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be. Sam has always and will always support her.”

Despite the failed marriage, it appears that Asghari still holds Spears in high regard. When asked about his ex-wife’s recent comments in her memoir, where she referred to him as a “gift of God,” Asghari had nothing but positive things to say. In an interview with TMZ, he expressed, “That made me smile, to be honest. I’m freaking proud of her. I hope she takes over the world.”
