Amir Khan and wife Faryal Makhdoom are in the news again. And just like the last time, they’ve been plagued with another scandal.
Amir Khan and wife Faryal Makhdoom made news headlines last year after the professional boxer went on Twitter to falsely accuse his wife of having an affair with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.
After making the accusation, Amir publicly announced that he was separating from Faryal and he maintained his stance even after it was established that there was nothing between Faryal and Anthony Joshua and it was Amir who had been cheating with multiple women.
But, it was soon discovered that Faryal was pregnant with the couple’s second child so they reunited.
Faryal gave birth to their second child on 24th April. 17 days after the birth of their child, Amir cheated on his wife with a 22-year-old model, it has now been revealed.
Model Sophia Hammani came forward to say she slept with Amir only two weeks after his wife gave birth. She said she met the boxer while out one night earlier this month, before she ended up at his hotel room in East London. The model, 22, claimed she was invited back to spend the night together in his room at Montcalm Hotel in Shoreditch on 11 May, before he left her with £20 to get a cab home and told her he had meetings that morning.
Sophie told The Sun: “He’s disgusting. He slept with me and his wife had just given birth. I nearly threw up when I saw they were still together. I felt so used.”
She said she thought the 31-year-old boxer was divorced, and only realised he was still married when he uploaded a photo of him with Faryal, 26, as they headed to Pakistan for Ramadan.
There are also reports that Faryal found out about the affair and messaged Sophie after she found her number.
Neither Amir nor Faryal have publicly commented on the allegations, however earlier today Faryal took to Twitter and posted: “Shit Happens”.
She didn’t clarify what she was referring to but fans concluded that she was referring to her husband’s alleged affair with the model and they said as much in their replies to the tweet.
