The Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai has reacted to the death of the wife of former lawmaker representing Bayelsa East in the upper legislative chamber, Senator Ben Murray Bruce.

DAILY POST had reported that Evelyn Murray Bruce, wife of former lawmaker representing Bayelsa East in the upper legislative chamber, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, is dead.

The 61-year-old battled cancer until her death.

Reacting, the Kaduna state governor, in a tweet on his official twitter page, expressed sadness over the death of Bruce’s wife.

He said:” My brother Ben I join everyone in conveying condolences and sympathies for this loss.

”Your wife was a great hostess, gentle soul and warm friend to me and our family.

”May her soul rest in perfect peace. I am so sorry, this loss is Irreparable.”
