Where would you go for the engagement photos of your dreams? Would you hike the tree covered mountains, get your boots dirty, and make the trek up into the clouds? Well, that’s exactly what this couple did! Vikky + Artheme met each other at the end of 2011… Little did they know, but they soon would not be able to go a day without each other. Fast forward several years, and during a holiday trip to a ski resort, Artheme proposed to Vikky — on the very edge of one of the highest slopes!
Vikky shares We are from Russia and always dreamed of visiting Norway one day — it’s a country of such contrasts, with its harsh climate and an incredibly lush, natural landscape. I couldn’t imagine a better country to have amazing photographs taken! With our photographer, we spent three days hiking, taking photos in the pouring rain, and walking on the snow in the highlands of Norway in August. We got little sleep, but the adventure was worth it and we will remember it forever!

Their photographer, Jane, shares V+A said they trusted me so much that we could go to anywhere in Norway and it would be good. So we traveled to Bergen and around the whole region for the shoot!
