Score Big With These Super Bowl Specials

Super Bowl Specials, After three weeks of the 2023 NFL playoffs, we’re down to the final two teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. The matchup for Super Bowl LVII is set and will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 12.  From Bourbon to beer, burgers, and kebabs, here are some winners to keep fans fed.

Mo’s House of Axe in Koreatown will have a burger, bourbon, and beer Super Bowl special for $30 on game day. The game will be projected in Mo’s main dining room. Walk-ins and reservations are welcome. Reservations can be made through Mo’s website.

Yardbird has game day covered for both dine-in and take-out, with:

  • Fried Chicken for the whole team ($150): 24 pieces of 27-hour brined chicken, mac and cheese, and biscuits; feeds up to six.
  • Biscuit Snack Pack ($95): 12-pack of Crispy Chicken Biscuits, mac and cheese, fried okra, and homemade buttermilk ranch

Dine In: Yardbird will serve up a new special game day menu:

End Zone Wings: twice-fried chicken wings, fried okra, and buttermilk ranch, Game Day Deviled Eggs with dill, chives and smoked trout roe, St. Louis style pork ribs with hickory smoked barbecue sauce, and The Great American Burger made up of short rib, brisket and chuck-blend double patty, house-smoked pork belly, American cheese, and house fries. There’s also Yardbird KFC: Korean fried chicken glaze, sesame ranch, and YB banchan, as well as Nashville hot chicken with house pickles and Texas toast.

The Kebab Shop will offer curated catering choices like The Crave Pack (small $135, feeds 10-15 / large $270 feeds 20-30), which comes with sides of saffron rice, Greek salad, pita bread, and an assortment of sauces. Pick between carved lamb/beef, and carved or grilled chicken for the kebab protein. To mix and match, consider kebab trays of carved chicken (small $65/large $130), carved lamb/beef (small $75/large $150), and grilled chicken (small $75/large $150) with sides that include Greek salad, Mediterranean chickpeas, hummus and pita, saffron rice, and falafel. Order pickup or delivery online.

Napoli’s Pizza Kitchen will get its game on with extra-large pizzas like barbecue chicken ($32.99), lamb sausage ($32.99), spinach artichoke ($30.99), and cheese lovers ($30.99). In addition to the main event, Napoli’s also has appetizers covered with  Buffalo chicken wings (8 pc $14.99; 12 pc $19.99; 24 pc $39.99) with an assortment of sauce choices, crispy gourmet onion rings ($9.99). Looking for some game-day inspiration? Retired NFL Chef Derrell Smith and host of Tastemade’s series, Mad Good Food, is back with a new special called The Ultimate Game Day Spread just in time for the Super Bowl.

Premiering on Friday, Feb. 3, on Taste made’s streaming channel, The Ultimate Game Day Spread will feature Smith cooking up some game days dishes like buffalo chicken rolls and Jamaica lime margaritas, with Super Bowl winner Vernon Davis.  Get a taste of  The Ultimate Game Day Spread here.

Every year The Abbey throws one of the largest Super Bowl watch parties in West Hollywood, particularly for the half-time show, and this year is a biggie –  Rihanna is returning from a six-year music hiatus to headline the show. Watch the game live on the massive LED wall or one of the many TV displays throughout the bar.

Drink specials from EFFEN Vodka, Casamigos, and Hennessy will help get the party going, and VIP tables will be available for bottle service and large groups. You might even catch a drag queen or two dressed as Rihanna during brunch.

Holy Basil will offer Super Bowl party packs that can be pre-ordered through Toast and picked up at noon on game day, Sunday, Feb. 12. The pre-order link will be open until Friday, Feb. 10:

Tallula’s in Santa Monica will host a Super Bowl watch party starting at 1 p.m., on the big TV in Felix’s Bar. It’s walk-in only, so grab a bar stool or table with your pals before the game starts at 3:30 p.m., for Tlayudas and drink specials, alongside the new bar-only snack menu, which includes Oaxacan chicken wings, birria fries, choriqueso and more. The weekend brunch menu also will be available until 3 p.m., if you’re craving a breakfast burrito and a michelada.

If you’re hosting at home, Tallula’s offers a Mexican take on Super Bowl catering with Oaxacan chicken wings served with mole negro and jalapeño ranch, platters of tacos de asada or pollo, cheese quesadillas, enchiladas Suizas, super cheesy DIY nachos, flan, mixed cerveza packs, margaritas and more. Pre-order by Feb. 10 at 5 p.m., through their website for pickup or delivery on Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Birdie G’s game day takeout and the delivery menu offer a $99 “Super Smorgasbord” pack featuring one dozen pickle chicken wings, four cheese kugel, a choice of Caesar salad or simple lettuces, and a dozen chocolate chip cookies, as well as à la carte versions of the same. There’s another pack of four 8-oz. Koji-Marinated prime flatiron steaks with Montreal seasoning to cook on the grill, as well as whole cakes and pies, and pre-batched Margaritas and Old Fashioneds. Pre-order by Feb. 9 at 11 a.m., through their website for pickup and delivery on Feb. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Milo + Olive will offer a couple of Italian-inspired, game day specials to pre-order for pickup and delivery, like crispy wings with hot honey garlic butter, basil, and fennel pollen, and a “Milo Supreme” Pizza featuring soppressata, pepperoni, mushrooms, red onion, mozzarella, olives, and aged parmesan. They’ll be available to pre-order through their website through Thursday, Feb. 9, for pickup and delivery on Feb. 12 starting at 11 a.m. The specials also will be available for pickup and delivery on various apps, like ChowNow, UberEats, and more, but pre-ordering is best to guarantee availability.
