The burial ceremonies for the late actor have commenced, marking a poignant moment in the realm of Nigerian cinema.

Tragically, the final curtain fell on Mr Ibu’s illustrious life in March 2024 when he succumbed to cardiac arrest in the bustling city of Lagos. His passing was further complicated by the aftermath of a leg amputation, underscoring the unexpected twists that often define human existence.

Hailing from Enugu, a city steeped in cultural richness and artistic fervor, the late actor bloomed into prominence back in 2004 with the mega-hit movie “Mr Ibu,” in which he shared the screen with the renowned late actor, Ita Iheme.
