Nigerians laud Kumuyi at 76

As the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi clocks 76 today, many Nigerians have continued to celebrate the affable church leader on the social media.

Born on June 6, 1941, Kumuyi started his public career as a lecturer at the University of Lagos in the 1970s, where he initiated a small fellowship in his Flat 2.

The fellowship of a few believers later grew into a behemoth entity called the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, an integral arm of which is the church.

He is the author of several books.
