LOS ANGELES – After five seasons on the hit reality show “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Lisa Rinna has announced her departure. In an exclusive interview with Interview magazine, the 58-year-old actress and television personality revealed that she made the decision to leave the show after the Season 12 reunion.
Rinna explained, “What happened was I left, really, right after the reunion. People don’t know that. But I let everybody know right after the reunion that I was going to move on, that was going to be it.” She went on to reveal that the show had become increasingly “unhealthy” for her, saying, “It wasn’t working for me. It wasn’t right for me.”

The Season 12 reunion was particularly memorable for Rinna, as tensions between her and Kathy Hilton reached a boiling point. As fans may recall, Rinna had previously criticized Hilton for her reported meltdown during a group trip to Aspen. Rinna shared, “She’s screaming she ‘made’ Kyle. Kathy’s responsible for Kyle and she said, ‘I will destroy Kyle and her family if it’s the last thing I ever do.'”
Hilton was clearly unhappy with Rinna’s comments and the two exchanged heated words at the reunion. Hilton told Rinna, “You are the biggest bully in Hollywood.”
Rinna’s departure from the show comes as a surprise to many fans, as she has been a mainstay of the series since joining in 2014. However, the actress has been open about her struggles with the show in recent years. In a 2020 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rinna admitted that she had considered leaving the show after Season 9.

“I was really done,” she said. “I was really, really done. I was done in every way you can be done. Mentally, physically, like, in every way.”
Despite her reservations, Rinna returned for two more seasons before ultimately deciding to leave the show for good. She has not yet announced what her next project will be, but fans are eager to see what the future holds for the beloved star.
As for “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Rinna’s departure leaves a void that will surely be felt by fans of the show. However, with Season 13 already in the works, there is sure to be plenty of drama and excitement in store for viewers.
