In a remarkable feat of culinary endurance, Irish chef Alan Fisher has broken two Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. Fisher, who is based in Japan, cooked continuously for 119 hours and 57 minutes, surpassing the previous record of 93 hours and 11 minutes set by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci earlier this year. He also broke the record for the longest baking marathon, baking for 47 hours and 21 minutes, beating the prior record of 31 hours and 16 minutes.

The achievement has been met with widespread admiration and congratulations from the culinary community. Hilda Baci, who held the previous record, took to her social media page to congratulate Fisher on his incredible feat. She wrote, “Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder.”

Fisher’s record-breaking cooking marathon took place at his restaurant, The White Rabbit, in Tokyo. He prepared a range of dishes, including sushi, curry, and ramen, using a variety of cooking techniques. The event was closely monitored by Guinness World Records officials to ensure that all rules and regulations were followed.

Speaking after the event, Fisher said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to have broken these records. It was a huge challenge, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my team and my family. I hope that this achievement will inspire other chefs to push themselves to their limits and achieve great things.”

Fisher’s achievement is the latest in a long line of culinary records set by chefs around the world. Previous records have included the largest pizza, the longest sausage, and the most expensive burger. These records serve as a testament to the creativity, skill, and dedication of chefs who are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the kitchen.
