Circling back to number one, there may be some guests who won’t be able to attend. This means that if you imagined dancing the night away with your work BFF’s, second cousins and well, everyone you know, a destination may not be right for you. Even if the guest list is large, most destination weddings don’t accommodate huge groups, and you always have to be ready for a handful of guests who won’t be able to make it simply due to the travel.
While there are things to consider (and sometimes things to give up) when choosing a destination wedding, the pros often outweigh the cons. If you’re okay with all of the above, and your dream nuptials have you imagining sand in your toes at the beach or wrapped in a cozy blanket in the woods, it’s time to start planning that destination.
