Oh boy, let’s talk about Hilary Duff! You might remember her from the iconic “Lizzie McGuire” series back in 2004. But did you know she’s also a singer? Yup, she’s been focusing on her music career, but she’s managed to snag some movie roles too, like in “A Cinderella Story” and “Cheaper By the Dozen.”
But things got real interesting in 2009 when she landed the lead role in “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.” The original movie, “Bonnie and Clyde,” won two Oscars back in the day, and Faye Dunaway was nominated for her portrayal of Bonnie. But when Dunaway heard that Duff was cast as her beloved character, she threw some serious shade. “Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?” she reportedly said. Ouch.

But Duff wasn’t having any of that. She fired back and played the ageist card, saying “I think it was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now, too.” And you know what? Dunaway didn’t even respond to that nonsense. But here’s where it gets juicy…

After Duff got married to a hockey player and was expecting their first child, she was unceremoniously cut from the Bonnie Parker role. The producers claimed it had nothing to do with her pregnancy, but let’s be real here. TMZ reported that Duff was paid $100,000 for her troubles. So yeah, sometimes karma comes back around.
