Game of Thrones star Tom Hopper, and his wife Laura says hello to their second child

Tom Hopper is a dad again!

On Saturday, July 7, 2018, the English actor, who played Dickon Tarly on Game of Thrones, took to Instagram to reveal that he and wife Laura have welcomed baby no. 2, a daughter named Truly Rose.

“So my amazing wife @laurahopperhops gave birth to our second beautiful child,” Hopper wrote, captioning a sweet snapshot of the proud parents sitting on their bed with 3-year-old son Freddie and their new baby girl. “Welcome to the world, our baby daughter, Truly Rose Hopper. Weighing 8lb 1oz. Family bed times just got even more cozy.”

For her part, Laura shared, “I feel so incredibly lucky to have another beautiful baby. The #nhs hospital I used went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience.

The Hoppers aren’t the only celeb couple to announce exciting baby news this month. As Nicki Swift previously reported, NBA star Stephen Curry and wife Ayesha welcomed their third child together on July 2. “My heart is FULL. God has been too good to us. Our beautiful baby boy Canon W. Jack Curry,” the celebrity chef shared on social media. “He joined us earlier than we thought and we couldn’t be more excited and grateful. Family of 5!”

Meanwhile, Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese recently announced that she’s expecting her first child, a baby boy, with husband Chris Buckner. His expected due date is in December 2018. “We are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness,” the mom-to-be wrote to her fans. “December can’t come soon enough!”

Over the next couple of days, both Tom and Laura, who married in 2014, took to social media to gush over their newborn daughter and praise the U.K.’s National Health Service. “Thank you #nhs for giving us the best possible birthing experiences and care for both our babies,” the 33-year-old actor wrote, captioning a slideshow of photos of himself and little Truly Rose bonding. “I feel like the luckiest guy on earth.”
