Fraudsters Elizabeth Holmes and Jen Shah May Become Allies in Prison

Elizabeth Holmes and Jen Shah, two high-profile fraudsters, may soon become allies as they serve their respective sentences at Camp Bryan. Holmes, the founder of the now-defunct blood-testing company Theranos, and Shah, a former star of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” both made headlines for their involvement in fraudulent schemes.

Shah was convicted in February for spearheading a telemarketing scheme that scammed elderly people out of thousands of dollars. Holmes, on the other hand, was charged with multiple counts of fraud after it was revealed that Theranos’ blood-testing technology did not work as advertised.

Despite their different crimes, the two women may find common ground in prison. According to Shah’s prison consultant Justin Paperny, there’s a “huge chance” that they will become friends. “There’s also going to be an understanding amongst them, so for that reason, I suspect they’ll connect,” he said. “They may become friends.”

Paperny even suggested that Shah could mentor Holmes and help her adjust to life behind bars. “If Elizabeth chooses to adjust like Jen, I suspect they could be friends. Perhaps Jen, as I’ve encouraged her to do, could even mentor her,” he said. “If Elizabeth Holmes does half as well as Jennifer Shah has, then Elizabeth Holmes’ family should be proud of her.”

However, not everyone is eager to befriend Holmes. Some inmates at Camp Bryan expressed skepticism about her and her crimes. “Some people are like ‘I want to be her friend’,” inmate Tasha Wade told The Wall Street Journal. “But other people are like, ‘I can’t believe that’s all she got for taking all that money.'”

Holmes and Shah are just two of the many high-profile inmates at Camp Bryan. Others include “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli and former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. Despite their notoriety, they are all subject to the same rules and regulations as any other inmate.

As for Holmes and Shah, only time will tell whether they will become friends or simply coexist in prison. But one thing is for sure: their crimes have made them infamous, and their time at Camp Bryan will be closely watched by the media and the public alike.
