Tottenham forward, Heung-min Son has revealed the fightback against Manchester United was driven by ‘anger’.

This was after their 6-1 defeat to Newcastle at the weekend.

Tottenham have dropped out of fourth-place with the hopes of playing in the Champions League dying off.

Within the last couple of months, Spurs have sacked two of their managers, Antonio Conte, followed by Cristian Stellini with Ryan Mason now in charge on an interim basis.

“We couldn’t let the game go. We were really angry about it, we didn’t deserve to be 2-0 down at half-time,” Son told reporters after the game.

“The last week was unacceptable and we didn’t want to repeat that.”
