Former Manchester City and Arsenal defender, Gael Clichy, has said the Gunners are the team that can really challenge Pep Guardiola’s side for the Premier League title this season.

Clichy said Arsenal has a great chance to win the Premier League title but insisted that Man City cannot be ruled out from winning the title.

Arsenal is currently on top of the Premier League table with five points ahead of Man City.

“City is really strong overall because they have been there for so long now,” Clichy told talkSPORT.

“It has been ten years since they have been consistent, so you can’t just put them out, but I think Arsenal have got a great chance.

“You know the next few weeks are gonna be really important and if there is a team that can really challenge City this year, it is them.

“They’re doing everything impeccably since the beginning of the season and I really hope they can go all the way because it is a club that deserves and a manager that deserves to bring success to this team.”
