We’ve watched Christina Aguilera experiment with many, many different makeup phases during her long career. Who could forget her stick-thin eyebrows in the “Genie in a Bottle” music video, or her smokey-eyed “Dirrty” phase?
Most recently, Aguilera’s typically seen with a more glam, red-lipped look, but, in March 2018, she shocked fans with her totally bare-faced Paper magazine cover. “I’ve always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage,” Aguilera told Paper about her new look. “But I’m at the place, even musically, where it’s a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty.”
