Former Administrator of Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State Samuel Alumka is dead.

Alumka died on his way to attend the All Progressives Congress (APC) special convention in Abuja.

DAILY POST gathered that Alumka, who is a current appointee of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, met his untimely death in Gwagwalada in a fatal motor accident.

He contested the House of Assembly election for Bassa State constituency but lost to his opponent.

A family source, who confided in DAILY POST on Tuesday, said his remains are being transported to his country home in Bassa Local Government.

DAILY POST reported earlier that Alhaji Isa Baba Buji, one of the APC delegates from Buji Local Government Area (LGA) of Jigawa State died in Abuja.
