Femi Fani Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation has reacted to the recent killing of some Nigerian soldiers by Boko Haram sect along the Nigeria-Chad border on Sunday.

Fani-Kayode queried Buhari government’s claim that the insurgent group has been defeated.

He criticised President Buhari over his ‘lackadaisical’ attitude towards the situation.

Fani-Kayode on his Twitter page wrote: “100 soldiers killed by Boko Haram on Sunday and Buhari maintains that Boko Haram has been “technically defeated?”

“Worse still he refuses to commend the gallantry and sacrifice of our soldiers or express his regrets and condolences to the families of those that have been killed.”

Recall the Senate had earlier taken notice of the killing of the soldiers and suspended plenary in honour of the slain officers.
