In a thrilling turn of events, Benjamin Tanimu has been named Bendel Insurance’s Player of the Month for October, beating out tough competition from his teammates.

The 20-year-old defender secured an impressive 44.3 per cent of the fan votes, edging out midfielder Ezekiel Tamara who came in second with 30.5 per cent. Amas Obasogie and Paul Obata trailed behind with 20.1 per cent and 5.1 per cent, respectively.

Tanimu’s standout performances on the field have not gone unnoticed, with reports suggesting that he has caught the eye of Spanish side Lleida Esportiu. His stellar contributions to the team have also earned him recognition as one of the most promising talents in Nigerian football.
