In a recent interview with Le Parisien, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry made a bold statement by naming Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann as the most underrated player in existence. Henry praised the French international for his consistent brilliant displays and fine positional versatility, claiming that Griezmann deserves more recognition for his talents.

As France prepares for upcoming international friendlies against Germany and Chile, Henry took the opportunity to highlight Griezmann’s contributions to the team. The former Barcelona striker emphasized the importance of acknowledging hard work as a talent, and pointed out Griezmann’s impressive passing and goal-scoring abilities.

“We must not forget Griezmann, who reminds us that hard work is a talent. Griezmann is, by far, the most underrated player in existence,” Henry stated. “We often talk about Kylian [Mbappe], so much so that I am even in favour of abusing him. But Griezmann, look at his passes and his goals.”

Henry went on to praise Griezmann’s versatility on the field, highlighting his ability to play in all four offensive positions. “Tell me, who in history could play all four offensive positions like him? There are not many. Grizou is one of them,” Henry added.

Griezmann, who has been a key player for both Atletico Madrid and the French national team, has often been overshadowed by other high-profile players in the football world. However, Henry’s endorsement of Griezmann as the most underrated player serves as a reminder of the star’s exceptional skills and contributions to the sport.
