Sierra Leone midfielder, Kwame Quee will play no part in the country’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria due to suspension.

Quee, who plays for Israeli club, Hapoel Haifa, picked up a red card in the Leone Stars’ final group game against Equatorial Guinea at AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.

The 25-year-old’s absence will be a big blow to the Leone Stars as he is one of the key members of the side.

Quee will, however be available for selection when the Leone Stars host the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau next week Monday at the General Lasana Conte Stadium, Conakry.

He was on target in Sierra Leone’s 4-4 draw against the Super Eagles in November 2020.

The talented midfielder has scored two goals in 18 appearances for his country.
