2023: Governor Badaru reappoints nine aides after they lost primary elections

Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has re-appointed Baba Nasara as his Special Adviser on Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau.

He also appointed eight more Special Assistants into his workforce.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini.

Nasara was reappointed as Special Adviser, Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau after he lost his bid for a ticket into the State House of Assembly to represent the Gwaram constituency in the just concluded party primary election.

The re-appointed Special Assistants include Bayero Muhammad Maifulani as his Special Assistant on Adult Education, Jamilu Dan Malam, Special Assistant on Rice Production, Zakari Kafin Hausa, Special Assistant on Basic Education, Tasi’u Sule Tankarkar, Special Assistant to the Governor on School inspection and monitoring.

Others are Sani Sabo Kwarko, Special Assistant to the Governor on Culture, Saleh Birniwa, Special Assistant to the Governor on Renewable Energy, Mansur Dabuwa as Special Assistant to the Governor on Primary Education, Salisu Taura as Special Assistant to the Governor on Basic Education II.

The statement said all the re-appointments are with immediate effect.
