We’re giving you a *major dose* of summer wedding inspiration today + we couldn’t be more excited about it! From the vibrant colors displayed about, the flowing silhouettes of the dresses that so effortlessly catch the breeze, the utterly cool teepees, and the tacos — we’re big fans of each + every bit.
The photographer, Benjamin Hewitt, shares This styled shoot designed by Taylor Falcon Events centered around beautiful, bold colors with major summer vibes. It is seen in every detail, and it was all inspired by the bright embroidery! Once we focused in on Mexican embroidery, it wasn’t a far leap to decide on a fiesta-inspired wedding shoot. With succulents and raw details needed, 801 E Main was the obvious choice for a venue. A staple in the Lakeland, Florida community, 801 E Main is known for their “Southwest Boho” ambiance + they are now hosting weddings and events there!
With a laid-back boho bride in mind, they kept all of the decor and details budget-friendly and locally done… Which we’re totally on board with! Ready for the party? Let’s waltz on over!
To kick off the vibrant floral note, Holly Easters (the “bride”) delicately drew + painted these sweet designs on the invitation. Cute, right?
Flowers by Shelby Glynn created STUNNING floral arrangements featuring pieces cut locally and hand-dyed ribbon. How striking are these color combos?!
We NEED to talk about this hairstyle! A semi up-do with flowing curls and a slightly messy fishtail? Destiny & Light, you are a genius!!
The way the bougainvillea rounded out that bouquet — absolutely LOVE!!
The wedding dress and bridesmaid dress were both purchased from Nordstrom, and not made specifically for bridal purposes (a great way to get better prices!). The embroidered Mi Amor napkins by Taylor Falcon Events gave the bride and groom’s plates a pop of color. Aren’t they adorable?!
One of our favorite details? These DIY-friendly embroidered hoops that doubled as escort cards + fabulous favors!
The menu was kept simple and delicious with tapas, tacos, and a Paloma signature drink, all courtesy of Flavor Gourmet Catering.
