A company driver discriminated against a female staff of his company by refusing to let her sit in front of the company bus because he doesn’t like women sitting in front. This has now led to a debate on Twitter.

According to the Twitter user who shared the story, the driver refused to drive until the female staff left the front seat. He then brought a male intern to sit in front.

The woman discriminated against wants to report the incident to HR but is worried the man, a father of five may lose his job because the company has a zero-tolerance policy and discrimination is against company policy.

@enyonvm tweeted: “Company driver tells my friend he doesn’t like women sitting at the front and insists till she moves to the back seat for HER MALE INTERN to sit at the front. She wants to escalate to HR which could get the driver (& father of 5) suspended or FIRED. She is conflicted. Advice pls.”
