The spirited announcement was made by the dynamic NPFL chairman, Gbenga Elegbeleye, during an engaging session with the press. Emphasizing the league’s unwavering commitment to progress and development, Elegbeleye declared, “There is no flawless league anywhere in the world, and we are continuously evolving.”

With a fervent vision for enhancing the quality and efficiency of refereeing in the NPFL, Elegbeleye divulged, “By the commencement of the next season, we are poised to roll out a range of state-of-the-art gadgets tailored for our esteemed referees.”

Beyond the realm of officiating, Elegbeleye shone a spotlight on the ambitious endeavors aimed at bolstering youth initiatives across NPFL clubs. “In our relentless pursuit of excellence, we are steadfastly dedicated to fortifying our youth programs. Last season, we mandated all clubs to enlist their feeder teams as a pivotal component of the club licensing process,” he underscored.

The past season saw Rangers clinch the coveted NPFL title in a riveting showdown, with Remo Stars and Enyimba sealing second and third positions respectively in a fiercely competitive race.
