Pensioners in Kano state staged a protest  today October 6, in front of the state government house, over the non-payment of their retirement benefit in the state.

The pensioners were holding a peaceful protest in the state to draw the attention of the authority to their plight when one of them collapsed.

The protesters marched from the Emir’s House in Nassarawa to the state government house.
