In a recent episode of her podcast, Doyin’s Corner, former Big Brother Naija star Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, known as Doyin, shared her controversial views on infidelity, stating that she expects her partner to forgive her for cheating after she apologizes.

Doyin, who had singer Iyanya as a guest on her podcast, made the startling revelation that she believes couples should move on if a cheating partner confesses and apologizes.

“I didn’t mean to say cheating was sweet. But if I open my mouth and tell you that I’ve done this thing, move on. If I apologize after cheating on you, let’s move on,” Doyin said.

When questioned by her guest about how she would apologize to her partner after cheating, Doyin responded with a shocking hypothetical scenario.

“Babe, I am sorry, I met this really nice looking guy. He was a lot finer, nicer, richer than you. So, I decided to step out. I was just telling you so that you are aware. It doesn’t mean I love the guy more. It just means in that moment, my urges took over me. But now that I am back to my normal senses, I still love you. So, let’s make it work,” she said.

Doyin also boldly claimed that she is a better person than her estranged boyfriend would ever be, suggesting that her partner should be grateful for her presence in his life.

The guest on her podcast, Iyanya, also addressed the topic of infidelity, denying any cheating allegations against him and pleading with women to give him more chances despite the rumors.

“When a girl dates you and you’re such a lovely guy, she doesn’t want other girls to know. So, I feel like most of the people who come out to say I broke their hearts don’t want you to know I am such a sweet guy,” Iyanya said.

The controversial comments made by Doyin and Iyanya have sparked a heated debate on social media, with many expressing shock and disbelief at their views on infidelity and forgiveness in relationships.

Some have condemned Doyin’s nonchalant attitude towards cheating, while others have questioned Iyanya’s plea for more chances despite the rumors surrounding him.

The podcast episode has ignited discussions about the complexities of forgiveness, trust, and the boundaries of acceptable behavior in romantic relationships.

While Doyin and Iyanya’s comments may have sparked controversy, they have also shed light on the importance of open communication, honesty, and mutual respect in relationships.

It remains to be seen how the public will respond to their controversial views and whether they will face any repercussions for their comments.
