As Prince Harry is set to embark on a new life in the United States, the question of whether or not the Duke of Sussex is fit for a US visa has become a point of contention. The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, is suing the US government to find out if it adhered to the proper procedure when granting him a visa. The Duke of Sussex admitted to having taken cocaine, smoked marijuana, and tried magic mushrooms. Harry has also opened up about his experience with cocaine as a teenager.
In his memoir, Harry revealed that he was offered cocaine and did more than one line. He said that it “wasn’t much fun, and it didn’t make him particularly happy, as it seemed to make everyone around him, but it made him feel different, and that was the main goal.” Harry also discussed graduating from smoking tobacco to weed while at Eton College and using mushrooms during a trip to the United States.
Harry admitted to abusing drugs and alcohol in his late 20s and early 30s during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. He claimed that he was “willing to drink, [was] willing to take drugs,” and that he “was willing to try and do the things that made him feel less like [he] was feeling.”

The Heritage Foundation argues that Harry’s extensive drug use admissions are normally disqualifying for entry into the United States, raising serious questions about whether the Department of Homeland Security properly admitted him.
