Arsenal loanee, Folarin Balogun appears now ready to choose between Nigeria and the United States of America after his latest England snub.

Balogun was born to Nigerian parents in the US and was raised in England.

The forward is eligible to represent the countries and has featured for the US and England at the youth level.

The 21-year-old was hoping to be named in England’s squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine but was omitted by manager, Gareth Southgate.

Balogun has been in fantastic form for Ligue 1 club, Stade Reims this season, scoring 16 goals in 26 league appearances.

The striker took to social media to show his displeasure after the England squad was announced.

“In life, go where you’re appreciated. Be easy,” Balogun posted on his Instagram page.
