Happy Friday and welcome to the Friday night thread, where the A’s will attempt to open strong against the Angels. This thread find our fearless heroes only 6 games behind the Angels, as they still need to make a valiant effort to get out of the basement by season’s end.
Tonight’s game will feature Jharel Cotton against Troy Scribner (yes, Evan’s little brother!) in his first Major League start. I’d be pulling for the kid, but a) Angels and b) A’s.
