A venue built as an Italian villa in the 1920’s, floating floral swings at the alter and reception, berry + gold toned details, a dog taking a bite out of the cake…didn’t see that last one coming? Well, it just happens to be one of the bride’s favorite details from this elegant + whimsical wedding! (Trust us, it’s SUPER cute.) Mallory + Beau planned their special day at Carondelet House in Los Angeles with the help of Orange Blossom Special Events, who made the couple’s vision come to life!
Mallory tells us, Both of us had our “must-have” priorities. My husband is originally from the East Coast, so he likes elegant weddings and insisted on wearing a tuxedo and having a band. I wanted bold florals and whimsical touches (such as our dog making an appearance on the cake), and we both wanted killer food. We were relaxed about everything!
M+B called on Jenny Smith & Co. to photograph the day, and WOW are the photos gorgeous! Let’s have a look:
Mallory found her dream dress at Wisteria Bridal, a Wtoo by Watters gown with an illusion neckline, crystal beading, and a tulle skirt.
The Little Branch incorporated real berries and loaded up on peonies for Mallory’s bold bouquet. As for the bridesmaids?
One. Perfect. Peony. Love it!!
And we can’t not comment on that incredible updo! Girl Meets Bongga‘s mastery led to a romantic, swept-back design made for a queen!
These colors are so great, right? We love BHLDN for bridesmaids dresses…here are a few of our favorites!
So classy!
The sweet duo made some time for rooftop portraits before heading into the majestic ceremony…
If you weren’t considering floral swings at your alter before, we bet you are now. WOW. Amazing work by The Little Branch!
The ceremony set up was more beautiful than I could have imagined, with our gorgeous floating swings by the Little Branch. I never expected that I would get so emotional during the ceremony, but my brother-in-law officiated and it brought me to tears. It was so special.
The candelabras, the rich colors, the seating…such an elegant affair!
Mallory + Beau made and bottled these cute limoncello favors for guests to take home.
LOVE.
M+B dated for over eight years, so they put photos and some of their favorite romantic quotes around the venue, ranging from When Harry Met Sally to Zelda Fitzgerald to Harry Potter. In addition to planning + design, Orange Blossom Special Events created all the paper goods and brought the romance to life!
If you’ve been wondering where all the beautiful vintage furniture came from, that’s thanks to Etablir Shop! And La Tavola stepped in to round out the look with their beautiful linens.
Good food? Check! Such a yummy menu from TresLA!
Everyone says this, but the day goes by so fast! Try to take a moment and savor all the hard work you have put in. My bridesmaids and I walked through the venue after pictures and before our guests arrived so we could swoon over the beautiful details come to life! Then, just relax and enjoy your day! And don’t forget to have a piece of cake, even if you eat it out on the dance floor!
Ready to see that cake? It’s a carrot cake with gold accents and large peonies on top. The Butter End made a small replica of M+B’s rescue dog, Clancy, eating out of the side of the cake! Told you it was super cute 🙂
Such a beautiful day for a beautiful couple! Our deepest congratulations to Mallory + Beau!
